Especially since Steve has been home at night the last week and a half. It has been so so LOVELY to have someone to sleep next to each night. Normally I am okay and I just deal with it but tonight I am pouting. It is like a privilege for me to actually be able to sleep next to my husband, and sometimes it really gets to me and it sucks! When he has been home for a long period of time I HATE when he goes back to work because naturally I don't like being alone. I want someone home with me to protect me and go check out the scary noises that I hear. But I will survive and one day I will be able to look back and be even more grateful when I have him home with me at night. For now I will just have to pretend.
(And babe, when you read this, and I know you will, I know that you don't like hearing this because it makes you want to be home even more, but just bear with me while I be a baby tonight...I love you)
We went to my parents for our birthday dinner (Steve has to work on his birthday so we decided to celebrate together) and had some amazing lasagna from our favorite restaurant, Cafe Torino. Thanks mom and dad, it was a great choice and it was so good! If you haven't been there you must go, like yesterday, it is honestly amazing! After dinner we walked down to the lake to check out the baby geese that had been born a few days before and of course they were on the other side of the lake...
And Haiden really wanted to get wayyyy too close to the water. She isn't afraid of anything and that scares me because she has no boundaries. So Pop Pop made sure she stayed safe!
Now you know Cami can't allow Haiden too much time with her Pop Pop so she wanted to join in the fun.
And then it was trampoline time...more on that later...but I had to add these two below...it really scares me just how fast this little girl is growing up and that she is will 2yrs old in a few short months...
I am so thankful to be home to laugh with her each day!
